Keeping Alberts Daughters in School

Life in Zimbabwe is extremely challenging for most people, with low wages, high prices, and constant daily hardships despite optimistic official reports. For Albert, a devoted single father, these struggles are even greater as he works to support his daughters. Your help can make a meaningful difference in keeping his girls’ education going.

After losing his wife, Albert has been doing his level best to raise his daughters, leaning on the kindness of community and neighbors for support. He works as a security guard at one of our local supermarkets, earning a modest salary that barely stretches to cover rent, transport, school fees, uniforms, and daily living costs. His day begins at 4 a.m., and he spends long hours on his feet until his shift ends at 6 p.m. (only to then face the transport battle getting home again). Yet Albert continues to show resilience, love, and sacrifice, determined to give his daughters a chance at a brighter future.

As with the last two Christmas fundraisers , my only wish is to ease the load for this little family over the festive period. It’s a temporary respite, but even a small breather in a place of so little goes a long way. Please consider sharing or donating. Any amount will make a real difference for a dad doing his very best to provide everything his girls need. All funds raised will go directly toward school fees, books, stationery, and uniforms (basically, the essentials that keep Albert’s daughters learning and thriving).
