Bio
My name is Abel. I am a qualified Carpenter and a South Africa returnee. I came back home to Bulawayo to rebuild my life with dignity and use my skills to support my family and community. I have 2 goals that will change my future: 1. STCW MARITIME TRAINING – $800 This international certificate allows me to work on ships as a carpenter/crew. Ships always need skilled carpenters for maintenance and repairs. This will give me stable employment opportunities. 2. CARPENTRY WORKSHOP TOOLS – $980 These tools will allow me to start my own business doing furniture, ceilings, doors, and fittings. I will no longer need to rent tools or do rough work. TOOL BREAKDOWN: 1. 200L Air Compressor – $350 – For spraying furniture and running nail guns 2. Hammer Drill 800W – $80 – For ceilings, doors and wall fittings 3. Orbital Sander 125mm – $45 – For smooth professional finish 4. Angle Polisher 700W – $55 – For polishing and buffing 5. Spray Gun + Nail Gun + Air Hose – $120 6. Circular Saw 185mm – $90 7. Bits + Pads + Clamps + Toolbox – $240 TOTAL NEEDED: $1780 With your help, I can get certified for ship work AND serve my community with quality carpentry. I am hardworking, honest, and ready to work. Every donation, big or small, builds my future. I promise to use every dollar well and to give back by employing others when I grow. Ngiyabonga. Thank you for believing in me.
