I lost both of my parents when I was only three months old.

I grew up knowing a kind of pain that no child should ever have to know. There were moments when life felt unbearably heavy, when I endured some of the worst circumstances imaginable, and when I had every reason to believe that I had been forgotten but the Lord was faithful.

When I had no parents to hold my hand, God placed people in my path who became an answer to prayers I did not even know how to pray. I encountered Christians, people who had surrendered their lives to Christ, who saw me, cared for me, helped me, and showed me love when I needed it most.

They didn’t simply speak to me about the love of Christ, they showed it to me.

Their kindness became a part of my story. Their generosity helped carry me through seasons I could not have survived alone. Through them, I learned that sometimes God reaches people through the hands, hearts, and sacrifices of other people.

I know what it feels like to be a child without parents. I know what it feels like to face hardship and wonder whether anyone cares. And because I have lived that story myself, I cannot look away when I see another child going through what I once went through.

That is why Saints of Christ — Love in Action exists.

What I received, I want to give.

We want to stand beside orphans, vulnerable children, the girl child, homeless people, and communities facing difficult circumstances. We want to provide practical help, create opportunities, restore dignity, and most importantly, remind people that they are seen, valued, and loved.

My story began with loss, but God did not allow loss to have the final word.

Today, I want my life to be evidence that God can bring purpose out of pain.

And through Saints of Christ, I hope we can become that same helping hand for someone else — the hand that arrives when they need it most, the kindness they never forget, and perhaps the answer to a prayer they were too broken to pray.
