About the Campaign
My name is Hasha Seine Maringe, Founder and CEO/President of the Information and Communication Technology Association of Zimbabwe (ICTAZ). I am raising funds to enable me to attend and present my accepted research paper at the 10th International Conference on Advanced Research in Education, taking place in Oxford, United Kingdom, from 22–24 October 2026. My paper, “Big Issues: Preparing Educators and Learners for AI in Education in Africa – A Case Study of Zimbabwe,” has been accepted following a double-blind peer review, subject to major revisions.
This opportunity is important because it gives Zimbabwe a voice in global conversations on artificial intelligence in education. My research highlights the urgent need to strengthen digital literacy, improve ICT infrastructure, and develop AI policies that will prepare African educators and learners for the future. It reflects over two decades of my work in advancing digital inclusion, ICT policy, and technology-driven sustainable development in Zimbabwe.
Your support will help cover:
Conference registration fees
International airfare
Accommodation and local transportation
Visa and travel insurance costs
Research presentation materials and related travel expenses
By supporting this campaign, you are not only helping me attend an international conference—you are investing in research and advocacy that can influence educational transformation, digital inclusion, and AI readiness across Zimbabwe and Africa.
Every contribution, regardless of its size, brings me one step closer to representing my country on a global platform, sharing practical solutions, and building partnerships that can benefit educators, learners, policymakers, and communities back home.
Thank you for believing in this journey and for helping make Zimbabwe’s voice heard on the global stage.
